I think the show is trying to cover as much girls as possible. Considering there are enough tropes and meta to throw around, giving these trinkets limited air time dictates a much more faster pacing, which is good.

Also, this show is not really aimed for the analyst of analysts. Whatever got you guys into watching this show anyway?
